Am I correct in assuming that the robots sent out by search engines like Google cannot access the parts of your XOOPS site that are only accessible to logged in registered users? In other words, they see the site as an anonymous user I assume?

Thanks

Ted

Hi ted,

I believe you are correct that is unless you have provided the robot with more direct and complete access (I found one that would do that for internal search functions).

But Google, Yahoo etc. try to return only publicly accessible pages--- I only infrequently hit one that requires a password, etc.
