Hi, I'm thinking of switching back to XOOPS from Drupal.

I was wondering if it is possible to do thisin XOOPS 2.2

Are you asking about a particular automated manner to transport your data into XOOPS from drupal? If so, what do you need or have in mind?

You certainly can convert manually....

1.rabideua. No I'm no I can convert it manually hehe. I'm more interested in a module that will allow me to collect data from users.


2.--Psy. I find that drupal lacks structure. One of the reasons I bother with a cms is to save time. Not to come up with new ways of presenting content.

Drupal offer lots of freedom, probably a little bit too much for my liking.

Lack of themes and modules can be frustrating too.

Ajap. I always ask because is interesting to see how each CMS fits on each webmaster plan, also, this is the kind of information that a noob needs to decide between two CMS systems, and the most difficult to find on the web :)

liase and formulaire etc will allow you to creat custom forms and specify what to do with the info.

You can probably just copy the code from your existing forms and paste it into the module you choose here with xoops.

Xoops has the best of both...it can be 'customized' like Drupal, with you finding all sorts of interesting ways to create content, but, it also has many modules developed that help make that easier!

There's even a new one called Auth(e) that in theory will let you wrap your existing Drupal site into xoops!

Here's hoping that you 'come back'!

I know that liase does...and I seem to remember another topic somewhere with a fairly comprehensive list of modules that are working with 2.2
