Help - Something strange with groups permissions

For some modules that only registered users have access to are showing up for anynomous users even though when I check them under groups they're set correctly. I've tried updating the system module and emptying the templates cache but still not working.

I know this isn't a direct answer to your question, but you realy should consider upgrading to @ least 2.0.13.1! There have been numerous security fixes since 2.0.9.2.

If you're concerned about 2.0.13.1, use 2.0.13. I've used it on several sites for some time now and it is quite stable.

Hi,

I desperately want to upgrade but I'm using the xphpbb module and it won't work on any other versions, I'd like to use newbb2 or the cbb module but I haven't been able to get any of the transfer scripts to work so I'm kind of stuck with it - I even contemplated copy & pasting all the forum threads over at one point.

If BBpxel's doesn't updated, it doesn't mean there aren't other alternatives

I used 2.0.9.3 (and one site is still on this version) and updated only 21.08 in order to be able to try new PD-Downloads - and haven't any problem... yes, I have not and hadn't autologin hack

Looks like a good module but how would I transfer threads over from the bbpixel xpbb?

This may be a silly suggestion, but...are you sure you are logged out when testing for this? ie: if you login and check things and then a while later you come back to your site, and you are thinking that you are viewing the site as an anonymous user would see it, well your previous session might still be active and so you are seeing things that registered users see. So make sure you have logged out, and then you should see what anonymous users see.

I'm thinking that's not your problem, but in case it is, there you go.

Solved - had inadvertantly set cache on main menu to 1 week
