How to remove top nav bar (theme fiapplepink)

Hi guys,

I am new to XOOPS and have just installed the fiapplepink theme - it's so cute.

I only want to use the side bar and can configure that easily. Can anyone tell me how I can remove the top nav bar. I don't want to use the top, only the side menu's.

I have removed the button place holders from the theme.html but it still shows. I can't understand why.

Any help a blonde in distress?

Whenever making updates/changes to your theme, make sure that you set the option for;
Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?

to;
YES

in the General Settings of the admin area.

...or delete all of the files in your templates_c directory in order to see the changes that have been made.

Thanks adrock. Setting it to yes made it show instantly.

Thanks for the quick response. All is well now ..... mind you, I may well get stuck again, lol.
