how to find out which version i have installed

if i have changed the footer so its doesnt contain any version numbers and that is now carried over to the new admin area how can i find out accuratly which build i have.

its the new admin one but i want to update and cant remember which it is

look in /include/version.php

look at the bottom of you administration page you can see ther e XOOPS 2.X.X and so

^^ not in 2.2x...... You get the normal footer there now. The easiest workaround is the 'echo XOOPS_VERSION;' placed in a block or anywhere handy when you need to know.

The new admin requires some getting used to. Especially the blocks admin. I'm not sure I like it yet but I'm reserving comment until I go live..

Not a criticism, but a question:

Since most of the other modules in the Module Administration area tell you what version of the respective modules you're using, why does my XOOPS System Module say 2.11 rather than 2.2.2?

The System module version is not related to the XOOPS version.
