hi!

I just want to know how can I move my XOOPS files with all my modules keeping the fixed block positions in the frontpage to a new web host

I tried in my localhost,I copy my XOOPS folder and I trying to configure the mainfile.php but it didn´t work so I reinstalled and now I have to modify the block and module visibility almost like starting all over again.

Any ideas?

Here's a good answer:https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=193.

Also, search this site using keywords like, move database, move server, etc.

Good luck. It's something I need to do myself, but am VERY hesitant to undertake.
