Having a problem in 2.2.1, default theme, with news comments in IE. The box that identifies the author of the comment is detached from the comment area and only shows the bottom half of the info. I do not see the same problem in Firefox.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, the guy that made those templates forgot to check it in IE. Not just the comments template isn't displayed correctly in IE, but the code and quote box don't have line breaks, it just destroy the theme when you post a long code or quote.

I know that Firefox is good (it's my default browser), but IE still more popular, and all things must be tested in IE before released.

This must be fixed really fast.

I have tried tweaking .comUserDetails in the CSS, but with no luck. Not sure where to begin on the line breaks.

Nice that someone gave precedence to Firefox over IE, but I agree that most viewers will be using IE.

If anyone has a quick fix to the theme/template problems in IE, please post it.

I tried to fix the CSS, with some succes, here what i made:

commented position:relative; in .comContainer

added width: 300px; in div.xoopsCode:

It will display like that in IE:

Resized Image

Resized Image

When comment is small it displays the container smaller than user details. That's the only problem i could not fix yet.

Someone knows how to fix it?

That guy is me.
I didn't forget to test the theme in IE;
i simply couldn't,since i only use a Linux box and i don't like windows emulators.
I called for IE testers at that time but there was a very little feedback so i couldn't apply any fix.
If you have the opportunity to do some tests in IE,you're welcome and i'll be glad to accept your contribution.
Don't know what i want but i know how to get it..........

Well, i just saw two problems at the moment, one was in comments and second in code box, i made those changes, now the problem is with little comments, because user details stay bigger than the container (see second picture).

If you need some feedback just e-mail me, or send a PM.
