I think that this is an issue in PHP versions below 5. Thus, XOOPS does not want to accept "long date" as a field change. Is anyone familiar with a workaround? I want a birthday field for users, some of whom are born before 1970.

Thank you. But selecting "long date" as a field throws an error listed as "None." XOOPS then refuses to accept the updated or new field. It will allow the "date" type, however.

It appears that date field will not work for dates prior to year 1970. If year 1969 or earlier is entered, it returns a value of -1.

Sorry. Typo. I don't have permission to edit posts. Should have been 2.2.1

The default theme seems to work pretty well in Firefox, but has the following problems displayed in IE:

1. User details in comments are buried under the actual comment.

2. Quote and code box do not have line breaks.

Please post fix to templates/theme.

I have tried tweaking .comUserDetails in the CSS, but with no luck. Not sure where to begin on the line breaks.

Nice that someone gave precedence to Firefox over IE, but I agree that most viewers will be using IE.

If anyone has a quick fix to the theme/template problems in IE, please post it.

Default theme news comments in IE

Having a problem in 2.2.1, default theme, with news comments in IE. The box that identifies the author of the comment is detached from the comment area and only shows the bottom half of the info. I do not see the same problem in Firefox.

Any suggestions?
