How to disable registrations?

In the latest version of XOOPS 2.2.1 I am unable to locate in the admin section where to disable user registerations. As i am only building the site at moment i dun want ppl joining yet and i dun wish to turn the site off either.

Preferences >> Extended Profiles >> General Settings

I don't have it installed (XOOPS 2.2.1) yet but I checked it out at opensourcecms.com and I think it is found under:

preferences > extended profiles > general settings

Hopefully this is it.

There is no general settings under extended profiles!

kiwiguy: Are you looking under the Preferences menu, rather than the Modules menu?
