and the field pm_link isn't there at all on my database.

The way I corrected this was by going into (phpMyAdmin) and uder the table (xoops_user_profile) manually put this in the (pm_link) and it worked for me.

I have a cloned template, could this be why it is not working?

This is killing me. I have checked everything. I have the pmlite.php. It is in it's right path and it works just fine. The wierd thing is that when I do as you both have said, admin can see the pm link but when admin clicks on it this page can not be found.

The other wierd thing is that when registered users log in, the pm link is not even there.

I'm so confused!

did this code fix everyone elses problem??? The PM link still goes to a page that can not be found for me. Any suggestions from anyone???

Well, I have found some permission settings in the module. I set the permissions and get the PM link to show. I guess I need more testing because I keep getting a MySQL debug error when sending a test message. Tested it yesterday so I will retest to get the error message. But I think (maybe) I am on the right track to solving this.

I have this problem on both sites I upgraded...

Then I did a clean install of 2.2... Even on a clean install there is no 'Inbox' Link anymore in the 'User Menu'?

Is it not meant to be there anymore or is this a bug?

You have to set permissions within the module for the link to be viewable.

Err, the permissions are set through the profiles module for the pm link to show. My mistake.

I have looked through all the settings on both those modules and still can not find a way to get my PM Link back.

I have this bug on 3 sites that where upgraded and 1 clean install.
