Just moved a site to a new test server - copied all the files, uploaded the database and changed the mainfile.php

The main site works OK - you can access all the pages, view the forums and galleries and log in as a registered user.

But, when I click on the Administraion link after logging in I get the message that it is the first time I have accessed the Admin section, and am told to click the 'continue' button - however, clicking on the button takes me straight back to the screen that says it's the first time I've been here...

Anyone have a clue??

Delete cookies, browser cache, templates_c and BTW did you change the site URL in the database before you imported it into the new site?

Cheers - deleting everything in templates_c sorted it!

BTW, where in the database is the site URL stored?

It's not its in mainfile.php
