Blocks, pages and such

I did a search on this, but either my verbage sucks or there's too many ways to answer this question...

I'm trying to get a block (custom) to show up on both anonymous as well as registered users. If I create the block in Anonymous, it shows up under Registered, and if you visit the site not logged in, you can't see it. But as soon as you login, you can see two instances of the same block (because one was created for Registered, and the other for anonymous).

What am I doing wrong? I'm using the latest XOOPS build (at least, I think so - it's 2.0.13)

You only need to create one block in sys admin ¦ blocks

You then give access to that block is sys admin ¦ groups by editing each group and checking the box for the new block

The drop down lists at the top are only a filter to only show the blocks that appear on certain pages and for certain groups, not for setting permissions.

Rock...on. Thanks so much. That part of the manual eluded me for so long. LOL.

Thanks!
