Can anyone submit a link for both the working modules in any website:

1- UD Dating
2- Friendfinder

like to see the demo of both the module

I tried to upload Ud dating to one of my test Xoop site but failed to install it ..

EMSguy ,kindly upload the modded friendfinder to your site.

Is is not possible to create a new module only for dating ??

Sorry I worked about 144 hours and just now got it working and up on my site. you can demo it at

Also I would like to just upload it. I don't need any credit and the original credits are still there. I am no PHP programmer and I couldn't get the notifications or search options to work.

Do I have to support it if I just want to upload it?

So how do I upload the "fixed" module to the module repository. To be honset I just tinkered with it and added more functionality to the module.

Modifications:

1:Added a quick search to the front page
2:changed the country field to states
3:changed the state fields to smoking question.
4:added a browse all profiles options.
5:added a feature to allow only certain groups to email or pm
6: fixed the direct friends "pluggin"
7: Fixed the e-mail function.
8: reorganised the layout so its more user friendly.
9: created graphics to imporve the look and feel of the module


But it is basically the same module. I just cut and pasted code that works. so I may have created some bugs. But I have tested it extensively and all seems to work fine with no issues.

So if I upload it to the module repository, and there are bugs I would have no idea how to fix them, lol.

Looks cool! A nice enhancement on the original.

I would submit it if everything works (as far as you know). I would however explain in the notes alongside the module download that you cannot provide support.

I have suggested in the past that modules should be categorised based on whether or not the developer is able to provide support. As long as I know *in advance* that I need to fix any issues myself, I don't have a problem with unsupported modules.

I'm afraid I don't know the procedure for submitting a module. It should be in the FAQ?

Until I can figurue out what I need to do to have it added to the module repository you can e-mail webmaster@code33.com or pm me on this site or code33.com.

I will e-mail the module to any that request it in the interim. With the understanding that it is a work in progress.

I'll get it added to the module repository, but there seems to be a problem with the link. Your mydownloads module has a problem.
