I've got a site that I'm setting up, and with the intentions of the site, the user will get points for posting images, comments, forum posts, to the site. How could I change where in any area of the site it shows the number of "posts" they have to display "points" instead. I am guessing it would be a database change? I am not entirely sure. I'm new to XOOPS but it absolutely rocks all the other CMS's i've used.

For this you have to adjust the language file(s) of the modules you have installed and has the word: posts. Simply change this translation into points.
No DB changes are needed.
