XoopsGallery: Permission Problem

Hi,

when I click the link in the gallery to access permissions, I get a blank error with the following pop-up:

Safari can’t open the page “http://www.mysite.com/modules/xoopsgallery/album_permissions.php?set_albumName=album03” because it could not load any data from this location.

Any idea why this is happening? The page used to work fine, but no longer.

I think you need to supply a bit more info and a link to the problem page, would be useful, before anyone could really help.

Only with Safari? Sounds like a browser issue...I know people who complain about this and Safari. They usually get the page when they reload/refresh. One person in particular said she needed to enter the page twice every time to get it to work.

Nope, on IE too. Only on IE, I get the following message:

The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.


It happens when I click the "permissions" link for a certain gallery.

Another silly question - does album_permissions.php exist on your server?

If one of the mods on this site would like access to the admin panel, please email me. I'm really at a loss, and don't know what to do next. I'm not sure if it's a permission issue with the photo albums themselves, or something else.

I've gotten no help on the xoopsgallery.org forum.

OMG this is so frustrating. I have two sites, one where it works, and the othere where it doesn't. Both have the exact same settings in the preference.

Resort to basics, then - clear browser cache, delete cookies, restart browser.

Update the module in administration menu, set preferences to update template files. Turn off the module cache for the gallery.

You could have a corrupt file in the module...re-upload if none of the above helps.

Any PHP debug messages?

I'm running out of options.
