hi there
i´ve tried to import my users into evennews but i got the following error

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 45 bytes) in /xxx/kernel/object.php on line 175

i´ve got about 11000 users allowed me send messages to them.is there a solution to import them all into evennews without managing it in the db per hand?

thanks in advanced

Same problem for me:
Fatal errorAllowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 45 bytes
in /user/dir/www/my_domain.com/kernel/object.php on line 175

On the same server I have it installed with XOOPS 2.092 and it works fine with importing (less then 500 users)

@ XOOPS 2.011 with 4500 users it gives this line in php debug.

updating the module is not helping here.
Does anybody has any idea ?

P.S. on Apach

O.K.
Line 175 is this:

$this->vars[$key] = array('value' => $value'required' => $required'data_type' => $data_type'maxlength' => $maxlength'changed' => false'options' => $options);

Too much data @ once (as I said I have 4500 users).
I don't think 4500 users is a lot, this thing is quite weird.....

I made a test on my local server: in php.ini I doubled execution time and raised memory for scripts (from 8MB to 96MB !!!!) and tried to import users....
After about 10 min. it came back with results (I think it's all the 4500 users)
now I'll drop the tables online and see what will happand

Kinda talking to myself, but I hope someone will benefit from it...

Well, moving localy made MySQL files on top of the remote ones is not working, as if it still reands the old oned, even after I deleted them first and so on...

any suggestions ?

Funny Ahh

One of the most powerfull CMS out there, with not even one decent mailinglist to mail your users.
not to mention smarter things like knowing who read the massages, taking bounced mails out if the database and so...

I must say Giba's Xmail looks very promising, but again - importing 4800 users into it is imposible ...

I still didn't gave up on doing something with those tables I managed to get out of my local server....
