Hi All,

i've just installed XOOPS on my own webserver (W2K, IIS 5, PHP 5.0.4, MySQL 4.0.24) without any errors.

When trying to open my XOOPS page, i get a blank page. However, when i open it on port 8080, i get the page perfectly (http://localhost:8080/index.php)

I have XOOPS running under the default website in IIS, with TCP port 80.

I have another html website defined (port 80, using host header name) wich works perfectly.
Do i need extra configuration in PHP somewhere to tell how to connect to IIS..??

Every help is mostly appreciated!!

Tnx,
Paul

i dunno the answer fully, but only 1 application can be using a port at 1 time..

things like msn or windows messenger use port 80, so maybe closing them down before you start your server software might do the trick.. or change their configs to use a different port number.

i could be wrong tho, never used IIS

http://www.iis-resources.com might give you a lot of required info tho..

No, IIS supports virtual hosting meaning that you can host more than one site on it.
Just that you need a domain for it.
