Exporting name and addresses for mailing

I could use suggestions or even point me to a module to allow me to extract the names and addresses of my members so that I can postmark them and send them newsletters.

Hi

Well, You can use the XOOPS own feature "Send Mail to Users), also you can use Xmail 1 (a new version is comming) or EvenNews to get what you want.

I meant physical addresses so I can use the good old US post office system.

you could just export the MySQL table as a CVS file. Then you can open it with Excel and mail merge it with your news letter.

Just a thought.

hmmm yeah, make sure you read up all about internet privacy, security and everything and data protection laws.. because you're dealing with peoples real home addresses, that's tricky business.. and you can't force any1 to provide you with that information.

My XOOPS system is for my high school reunion so if they don't put their address they don't get our mail outs
