I'm running 2.0.9.2 on my Live and Test site. I've just installed PiCal on my test site and got duplicate templates for PiCal. Is it just me? Anyone else finding duplicates are still created in 2.0.9.2?

I got three in my newbb module(2.0.2), posted in this thread.
Currently running 2.0.9.2.
Will upgrading to 2.0.10 elimitate those duplicated ones ?

Try this script for fixing duplicate templates
that I made just now. I have run it on my own installation and while it didn't do anything (since I don't have duplicate templates) it didn't do any harm either.

Extract to the XOOPS root folder and let me know if it works. Delete the file afterwards.

edit: This is only for the templates. The duplicated blocks, I won't touch just yet because some modules use the same block several times (recent news, most read news for example).
Come XOOPS 2.2, you will be able to delete them through the blocks administration.

If someone could quickly test this, I could include this in 2.0.12a which will fix the comment edit problem - but perhaps also this?

thanks a lot for the help and the script.

just checked again and found that those duplicated in my system are all blocks.
so .. instead of running the script, I can only do a template clone and use the new one as my template set, which, actually, solved my problem quite ok.

Thanks a lot for the script though.

Does that mean that you tried the script? Or that you found that you didn't need to?

no. I'm afraid that I didn't.

I can try it now if that'll help.

however, it seems that the link to the file's broken.

I can try to run the script if you can put it back on now.
though I'm not sure how many useful feedbacks that I can give.

just ran the script but nothing really happened.
is that correct ?
any place I can go have a check if it's running ok ?

no change in the templates?

You can enable MySQL debug and access the script again, then see if you get any sql queries in red in the popup window.
