I've created a module essentially for me to have a solid starting point for creating more complex modules. It doesn't really DO anything other than install / uninstall and have some dummy data / settings.

So my questions are...

1) Does something like this already exist somewhere and I was just unable to find it? If so, where?

2) If it doesn't exist does anyone have any interest in it for their own use? If so, where should I submit it so that everyone can access it (it doesn't really belong in modules - it should probably go in the help docs honestly).

I think that if I had this when I was starting, it would have made my module development much easier because you can see the bare-bones components of a module pretty easily.
