how to hide postings from special user?

hey there, sorry i'm not so familiar with newbb features. Is there any change to set postings from some user invisible?

please help!

I was thinking of this option also, if possible to add.

Instead of flagrantly just banning the user, let him think he still has access to the site and able to post, yet only admins and moderators can see the posts and by replying to that persons post, only the admins and that user see the reply.

It would circumvent the problem users and not have them try something untoward the site if they just think noone listens to them. LOL

yeah. like put the post into waiting list first... waiting for admin or mod review it. until approved... then it appears in the forum... good idea Lance_!

While i like the idea very much ... consider that this spoof will only work until you force the people to always visit the forum in registered state.

Otherwise the person made "invisible" will notice once he browses the forum as anonymous.

And also if the poster had more than one ID... it would cause an issue...

i thought about having a blacklist for me personally eg. in my profile which lets me ignore one special user
