I've set up XOOPS and have more or less figured out how to use modules, and other cool stuff in xoops. one problem i have is i'd like to have some buttorns on top of the pages (under my banner). I've seen it done on other XOOPS sites. I don't see this option in my admin menus and i'm not sure if i need a module for that. I'd like to just have simple buttons that would go directly to a module of XOOPS and also i'll need about 2 buttons to go to url that is not in xoops, but i need a link to it from xoops. help is really apperciated.

What you need to do is not managed through XOOPS' admin interface. You need a theme that includes those links, such as theme x2t, included in the distribution.

The way to start experimenting is to activate in the admin side this theme. Then take a look at the HTML code. You'll see those links are included there in a fixed way.

If you want a more automated way of doing these things, look around for menu stuff.

i actually found a really cool theme by Lucastds and i was hoping i could use it and add menus to it on top. if there's no way to do that, is there and easy way to customize the theme or use some module that will work with it? thanks.
