OK, so data was inserted into the database. Try this:

Go to http://yoursite.com/user.php see if you can log in, if you can then go to http://yoursite.com/admin.php.

See if you can get to the admin section to enable debug mode.

Can you open the URL to user.php?

The page is blank until debug mode is turned on, then the errors appear.

i went to the http://mysite/xoops/user.php and got the same blank page.
