First, excuse me for me english !

After some tests of the various modules of galleries, I chose XC Gallery which corresponds well to my needs.

I have a problem to add images.
I have created two public galleries :
- one where only the administrators can insert images,
- other for the proposals of the other users.

No problem to create the categories, the albums and the groups. All seems to be coherent on this level.

When I connect myself as administrator, no problem. I can add and manage images automatically in folder 10002 (2 = Id user).

When I connect myself as user, something is wrong. I cannot add images. A repertory 10027 (27 = Id user) is created, but it remains empty and I have the following message:

“impossible to move photo.jpg to albums/userpics/10027”

I have checked the permissions but that does not function even by putting all at 777.

I am broken down of imagination to find a solution!

The XC Gallery world is a desert!

I gave up and used myalbum-p. Seems okay.

Are you sure that the module permissions in the admin section have been set for the user?? I have xcgal up and running on my site just fine.

However if you don't need each user to have their own gallery, there are other very basic galleries available.
