I´ve just discovered this theme and it looks great for www.fotobarcelona.com a photo blog site of Barcelona that we are making at the moment.


Ther problem is that is half written in an strange languaje that we want to remove but we don´t know how.

Is it possible to remove the links below the theme upper logo???

Also there is another theme we want to use which is called aqua-um that is written in portuguese.

Is there any way to change the portuguese words? and to make any of the default upper horizontal links desappear??

To remove the Quote: japanese characters you must edit the "theme.html" found inside the folder?s theme

Open it on your favorite editor and translate the links to Castellano o Catalán.

About the aqua_um theme( i don?t know It), if you are traying to tranlate words, just apply the same procedure.

I did change the japanese letters for "news" "user" "search"


But it doesn´t change

I can´t understand. The only possibility is than it takes some time for it to change.

Because the main top banner also takes quite long to change.

Yesterday it took 6 hours till the Ocean-net banner to dissapear and my banner to appear.

Strange no??

Did you delete all files inside of your "templates_c" and "cache" folders?

That will do the trick

thanks a lot you for your help.

Now it works very nicely on www.photologging.com a photo club we are developing at the moment.

It was enough with deleting all the files inside the templates-c folder.

After i did also remove all the files in cache folder (included one that is was called something like myadministration.php) and it broke down the xoops.

No problem, because it was at the beginning and i reinstalled the XOOPS in 5 minutes.

¿Are you sure the files inside cache should be deleted?


The thing is that now everything works perfectly thanks to your kindness.

By the way, i did already register on your site, and i will use it often.

As soon as this project gives some benefits I will visit brasil.

Mostly of the times we only have a "adminmenu.php" inside the folder and the side effect on deleting It was the warning "this is your first time accessing the admin are....etc" after that you pres ok and voilá.
Everything is fine again.
