I am running XOOPS version 2.0.9.2 and when I log into my fantastico account it tells me that I can do a click & upgrade to version 2.0.10

I click it but before you click confirm it says :-
Click on Upgrade only if
- no files, languages, themes have been modified
- you haven't added mods to this installation of Xoops

I am using a different them, I have about 5 or 6 mods aswell, Gallery, NewBB2, Frozen Bubble, Contact etc etc..

Will these mods be affected if I click upgrade?

hmmm - I'm not sure about how Fantastico works, but it seems that it will replace your current installation with a new one, including modules.

I'd suggest you contact your host with the question, because I can't answer it.

However, manually updating XOOPS is not very difficult, and it will ensure that your modules and themes are not interfered with (except newbb, since that was a module in the core distribution in XOOPS 2.0.x)

cool, thanks for that dude.. I m not wanting to play around after all the hassle I have had with my host & XOOPS lol.. I think I will leave it alone untill XOOPS really get too got not to upgrade ;) lol
