Hi all
How is everyone??
I must say I love XOOPS and all the work I keep seeing underway, when I come back to check on updates

Ok my question is this, I have tons of articals to add to my site they need to be laid out, so there isn't tons of pages to find what you are looking for.
The whole system needs to be not really heavey as most people are simple and find my site confusing as it is
I once had wf sections on my site yet it was really sluggish i found, has it improved lately??
At present I am on dial-up and so can't experiment to much

If anyone can sugest a perfect artcal manegment system that is user friendly i would be greatful

Peace B with U

Basicly i have gone over the whole bible
which you can imagine has been a big task and need people to see that John and Paul are liars and pharisees. they both contradict a lot of Jesus own words and the rest of the bible
I have made tons of little articals and need it so people can skip from one subject to the next depending what they question 1st
Do you think ams would do?

hmmmm i find the bible full of hypocrisy and contradiction.. other religions the same..

but i dunno if ams will work for what u require, best way is to install it and see..

but theres others like wf-channel and so on, smartfaq will allow u to ask questions and then put answers to the questions..

Just had a look at ams

I will need titles of each subject

So not sure if that will do, like the description says it is like news module

Not sure if to use wf-sections again, unless there is another alternative?
Plus still waiting for a fully finnished version by them as the last time i tried, it had holes everywhere on the beta version

Interesting subject... I suggest a Wiki may be more suitable for this type of site...

possibley.... yet isn't wiki where people can add to it??

Or is that me getting mixed up?

Just check up on latest wf-sections and there complaints for beta version, scary

This was the same 6 months ago couldn't find a perfect artcal mangement system

There must be something, wasn't some one working on one?

WF-Sections is still one of the better document modules about, although AMS is pretty good indeed.

I'm sure if anyone wants to assist with any bug fixing, no one will complain.

thxz davidl2, i took your advice??

I had tried wf-sections a year ago or so and it was very bodegy and heavy

It still is very sorry to wf-projects as I know you try, yet the current 2.0.1 versions has problems with thumbs pics, web site links displaying catergories and other things.

So after a day of trying to fix problems and even set it up, i have given up.

So now i am going to use the articles module, it seems smooth it is not heavy

wish i had just tried it to start

Peace B with u

AMS is a fine module, and perhaps you may find this better suited to your needs.

A new site I am currently working on is using a version of WF-Sections - but it is more suited to this site... different modules do suite different tasks.
