Hi all,

One of my members asked me what these features are in the forum:-

Level...
H.P....
M.P...
EXP..
and how do you achieve rankings.

To be honest I am not 100% sure and would just like some advice or someone pointing me to the right direction on this.

Please help.

This is part of the Karma system - which is not fully implemented in Newbb - but will be implemented further in CBB.

at the moment I have
joined
from
posts
level
hp
mp
exp
group.
I'd like to keep the joined, from, posts and group settings. can I turn hide the others so people can't see them?

Yes, to remove them - go to Module Settings, and tick the Enable HP/MP/EXP Levels Mod option to no.

As it says on that menu:

HP is determined by your average posts per day.
MP is determined by your join date related to your post count.
EXP goes up each time you post, and when you get to 100%, you gain a level and the EXP drops to 0 again.

It looks pretty on the screen, so I think I'll leave it on now anyway! lol.. sorry about that.

No problem - and at least the information is now here for anyone who uses search

The Karma will be expanded on in later versions of CBB (which now replaces Newbb)

yeh, I tried understanding that karma deal>,, no bloody clue! lol.. all I can work out that is, if people don't read the post you wrote you loose exp, you set your karma on that topic to say "5" so, that means 5 people or more have to read it to keep you up in EXP: ?? lol.. I bet that's wrong though
