Activation impossible

Hi,

I've modified several files in order to add more fields in the xoops_user DB. When I did more than adding functions, I renamed the files in _new.php.

I receive the activation mail (with the URL) but the activation does not work. Actually, it is the $user->setVar('level', 1);
line in the member.php file that does not modify anything in the DB.

Any hint on the reason why ?

there's more than several files need editing to add new fields..

if you download just the profile fields hack and look at those files then that should give you a good idea of where to start..

make sure you download the correct version, there's a version for 2.0.10 and 1 for 2.0.9.3
