Whenever i try to upload some big article ( not tooooo big) it gives me error
You don't have permission to access /modules/articles/submit.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


how can i correct this ?? It uploads properly when article size is little small .
i am using XOOPS 2.0.10 with
Articles, version 0.24a

The maximum lenght for a text is 65535 characters.

Edit the type of the field "art_article_text" in xoops_articles_main by changin TEXT into LONGTEXT. I think that should solve your problem.

Forgot te mention that you should do this in your database (through Phpmyadmin...)

I did just as you said .(from phpmyadmin) but problem is still there .. do i need to update article module b4r trying again ??

Any suggestion what can be the problem .. this is out of my head :(

i updated modul but no use .. I dont know what to do . i have mailed reported to developer at sirium.net and he is loking into matter .. I will post here if i get good reply from him .. Or else i will have to install some other article module like Ams and reput alllll articles :( ....... its so boring

still no good workout for my prob .. what should i do . Should i install some other articles module and reupload all articles :( Can u suggest any good one for XOOPS 2.0.10
