Anyone modified Profile Hack for 2.9.0.2/3?

Can the hack add customized fields or only the fields defined by the Hack?

no you can't customise them automatically via admin.

but if you look at the files and search for m0nty in each file, you should clearly see what's been edited and how. so you should be able to see how to add extra fields by duplicating existing and changing the names.. remember new fields means 1 new row per field name in the database.

ok here's the profiles hack & photo hack combined!

download HERE

installation if photo upload hack installed already >

just copy all of the files overwriting existing..

then run the MySQL query from prof_fields_mysql.sql

no need to run the photo sql query.

then goto XOOPS admin and update system module..

FRESH install (no photo upload installed at all)

copy all files from hack to the root_xoops folder overwriting existing.

run the query from both sql files using phpmyadmin (remember to change the xoops_ prefix to match ur db prefix)

once done, goto admin and update system module..

m0nty once again you have set the standard for the XOOPS support forum!

just one question: your file is called photo+profile hack 2010. And I recall you posted a special version for 2.0.10.

So will this work for 2.0.7/2.0.9.2/3? If not a final package for these versions?

A version for 2.0.9.2/3 is most wanted for user like me who can not upgrade to 2.0.10 because no multisite module version.

well the original photo hack (posted previously in this thread) is for XOOPS 2.0.9.3.

no the combined hack is just for 2.0.10, along with the profile hack (2.0.10 only) i haven't got a 2.0.9.3 version, although i could possibly do it..

at the moment there's only the photo hack that has a 2.0.9.2 version aswell.

but that would mean doing it twice as animas is wanting 1 for multisites and if he's using mith's multisite hack that will mean havin to edit those files too, which is not something i planned on doing to get other peoples hacked sites working..

Thing is i also have the autologin hack installed like many other xoopsers so if i update to 2.0.10 something will fuck up its certain.

The photo hack for 2.0.9.2/3 works perfectly on 2.0.7 (my current version). The combined photo+profile hack would be greatly appreciated since these are very popular versions of XOOPS for various reasons (in particular the autologin).

Hope it doesn't take you too much time.

the autologin hack has been been made for 2.0.10 aswell..

i've done the profiles hack for 2.0.9.3

you can download it HERE

this isn't combined with the photo hack, so if ur using the photo hack aswell, you *will* have to manually edit the files.. same for if you are using the multisites hack by mith.

all the edits are clearly commented, you can find the edits by searching the files for the name m0nty, then it's just a matter of copy/paste to your already hacked files (the line numbers will be different but you should still find where to place the edits)
