Hello,

I am using the last version of XOOPS and while changing the template of a module (Symantec Alters), I came to find out that it does caching somehow.

I've tried to delete every cache file in the templates_c and cache folders and it would load the new changes. Finally I came up with an idea of deactivating and deleting the module and installing it again and it was just fine.

Could you help me with some hints of how to NOT DELETE the module and reinstall it again?

Regards,

sure

Templates are loaded from the database, not from the physical files. Make your changes to the templates by using the built in template editor: system admin -> templates.

Or, if you want to change the physical files, you can do that, and use system admin -> modules, and click the 'update' button to reload the module, including the (changed) templates, loading them from the physical files into the database.
