ok, here's a real easy one.. I am a newbie to this XOOPS experience and I LOVE IT but, I want a forum on my site and I am not sure which one to pick...

A) NewBB 2
or
B) CBB

All these sites are using the IBF mod.

Using IBF does involve overwriting some core XOOPS files, so the down side is upgrading can be a pain. I haven't upgraded any of my sites to the latest XOOPS simply because ya never know if it's gonna go smoothly or if you're gonna lose everything in the process... but if you back up regularly & before upgrades it shouldn't be an issue.
Still, the benefits far outweigh the negative aspects of running this board. It adds heaps of functionality to XOOPS, esp RE: the PM system. I would hardly use XOOPS w/o it.
