XOOPS.org donations... IPN group-bump?

I was just wondering if people are automatically moved to the "Friends Of XOOPS" group upon donating, or if someone manually processes them?

If it happens to be the latter, could someone please show me how ya swung it? I appreciate it.

It is automatic as long as:
1.)you have ipn set up at paypal (along with a paypal account)
2.)the group is selected in your admin section of xDonations
3.)the groupd is created under admin menu:preferences:groups
4.)I can't think of anything else hope this helps you out

are you wanting to switch people from group to group, if so all you have to do is go into your groups admin, find which group you want the member to be in, scroll down and you will have your list of members on one side and the list of members in that group on the other. Simly drag and drop.

nono I know how to do that, but thanks cuckston. I was actually tryina hold out for your subscriptions module but I can't wait another 2 weeks.

I'm running xDonations 1.4 ...I cant find any "move members up to this group after donated" option, & I can't seem to find the upgraded file (if thats what I need) here to download, any xDonations links lead to a "Sorry this is a private project and you're not a member" page.

1st you must make a new group like, subscribers in the admin config of xoops. Then in admin config of xdonations you simply modify the option:

Select a Group to assign donators to: (in the middle of the page) if you don't have an extra group created first there will be no options to populate this field.

I have been trying to mod this application to allow for a simple paypal subscribe function to work, but I am having trouble.

As you can see, I'm not crazy... my version lacks that functionality. Unless I'm blind. Do you see it?

So maybe someone can point me to a working download link for the group-functional version, or if none such can be found, someone upload their group-functional xDonations zip for me? Thanks so much.

It's not a group people are moved to, it's a rank people get. But the same code could be altered to change group ID rather then rank ID, no?

Well, good news is I have the link:

bad news is the developer suddenly put this project to private access so no one has acces to the latest version.

but the good news is I have a copy of the latest release and the group change does work. Pm me with your e-mail and I will email it to ya.

and the latest beta version I have does move groups along with ranks.

Sorry - project had become inactive and access only allowed for project members.

Project is now reactivated, so you should be able to access it on dev.xoops.org
