I tried to upgrade modul news 1.1 to 1.3;
I did all these:
1) Upload all files in this package, overwriting the existing files.
2) Update the module in system admin -> modules
3) Launch the following script at least one time :
http://www.example.com/modules/news/admin/upgrade.php
To be able to launch it, YOU MUST BE AN ADMIN OF THE NEWS MODULE
Once this script has been launched, you can remove it but it's not "vital"

and I upload to may root path (backend.php and pda.php);
And now (when I have to go to admin menu) warns me, I am using first time admin menu (witch I don't)... then I have to click OK button and there's nothing there (white - blank page;)

Then I tried this:
...my_page.com/modules/system/admin.php
I came to Admin menu, but I can't do nothing...
Resized Image
...because "...my_page.com/admin.php" won't displayed or. generete;

I tought, I solved the problem with backing up news 1.1, but it's not working; Problem stays.
I hope, anybody can help me...
PS. Sorry about my english (i'm not so familliar with - jet)
Thanks

Hi,

Try CHMOD 777 to cache folder in root folder and CHMOD 666 to cache/adminmenu.php file.

Also if you can turn on PHP debug then copy errors lines here.

cache/adminmenu.php

I delete or remove file... I upload it and now admin menu works correct;
Thanks Mowaffak;

Those two problems I noticed at the same time... Blank admin menu, and on page ...my_page.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=modulesadmin I don't have other modules (only installed modules); So I can't install any new modules until I fix that problem;
Thanks for any help!
