Does XOOPS have a GUI facility for building modules, like the one in eZ Publish.
Basically, in eZP modules are called classes and you use drop-down menus to add each of the types of fields that you want for the module. eZP then automatically creates the module and with a few more clicks it builds a template for it as well.
I'd really like to use Xoops, but because I need to build very unusual modules I don't think it'll be suitable for me as I don't have much experience in coding.
I'm currently using Mambo, but it doesn't have categories/sub-categories, and eZ publish (whilst being a lot easier to use than many people suggest on the various CMS forums) does suffer from slow performance, it has a very basic WYSIWYG editor and it's community is tiny.
Any noob tips on building modules would be very welcome
Cheers
