URGENT help needed please....

its not fair... I closed down my site via the pref's "come bacdk later" option then... it must have timed out, by the time I went back to it, it loaded the screen the users would see, entering my name and password didnt help one bit...

PLEASE (sob!) Can anyone help with advice on how to re-access my site....

if ur account was in the webmaster group then you should be able to enter it.. unless you disabled the webmaster group from having access..

you could always turn it back on via phpmyadmin, in the xoops_config table.. search for the site on/off option and edit it manually.

Hmmm... that helped, it turned the site on, however, it doesnt seem to know my password, ummm, sorry, it does, thanks me for logging in, then goes back to the main page as if I am not logged in... (the login box is there)

please, anymore help would be appreciated...

sounds like your browser is blocking cookies, or your firewall maybe blocking http header referring.. check your firewall settings and make sure it allows http headers to be sent..

nope, it was all working fine before, but to make sure, I tunred off the zone alarm firewall (I dont use the crappy M.S. firewall) and still no luck.

I was/am still anle to log onto this site, running the same software so...

Sadly, I think a general reset might be needed...

but if I can avoid that then I'd prefer to... (avoit it I mean)

My users dont number very many but we built up the site into something special...
