Install to Windows 2000 fails - could not write into mainfile.php

Trying to install XOOPS 2.0.10 on a Windows 2000 Server with the following:

Apache 2.0.53
mySQL 4.0.24
php 4.3.11

Install fails with "Could not write into mainfile.php..."

Checked file permissions. All were fine. Added IUSER as suggested in other posts but also failed.

Able to install XOOPS 1.3.10 on same machine without an issue.

Any help would be great!!

The IUSR account is created when you install IIS so adding this account & granting it rights will not help you. You need to make sure that you CHMOD mainfile.php & give the appropriate groups/users permissions.

Thanks jctsup1..

I thought IUSR would not help.

Rights for mainfile.php are full control for everyone (internal server for testing only).

Not sure what else to grant?

I am not an apache guy - wish I could give you more insight but I am sure that someone will be able to tell you what exact permissions need to be set
