i can figure it out how to make this module works.

i tried to download the last version of module from dokuwiki site and apply the patchs to integrate it with XOOPS without success. Tried to make a hack to make it look at XOOPS groups and save confs in database (this module saves the confs in flat file), and im looking for port it to complete XOOPS permissions control, but it just DOESNT WORK no matter what i try.

Oh well, it works in localhost, just some problems with the charset, but not in my server.

im using iso-8859-1 charset, and i see utf-8 all over around in this script. theres some incompatibility???? i tried to use UTF-8, cause localhost is using that (/language/portuguese/global.php, define _CHARSET), but it doesn work too.

Its quite frustrating. Im interested in improve this module and give it back to community, but i need it working at first place.... pleeeeeeease... someone can help me?

It is a great wiki ideed.

However, permissions (acls) do not seem to work right with xoops... I can get admins to edit, but registered and visiting users can not vie the pages..

Any idea how to work around that?

Ah.. Well... Got tired trying to wrestle with dokuwiki, and realised the new version of wiwi is not too bad..

BTW, another decent wiki is pukiwiki fromhttp://www.bluemooninc.biz/~xoops2/modules/mydownloads/
