Why is the NEWS always plugged up with someones new site?

This is probably gonna twist someone's drawers.

We've got a forums where people can put up their sites and get constructive opinions. Now everytime you log on you get all the blurbs for someones new site in the NEWS.

Honestly, I don't link to look at those sites. I wade through a bunch of them to get to real news that pertains to XOOPS mods, themes,or other tools I can use in building my sites.

Did I miss something?

Yes you are missing something if you don't look at "those" sites. Many of them have ideas on how to use XOOPS (themes, mods, & tools) and many have "tips & tricks" as part of their web site (not to mention the community built upon by sharing one another's ideas and "passions".)

Please at least take a look - you may be surprised.
