try emptying templates_c..

it's also best to clone your templates in template manager and edit the cloned templates instead of editing the default templates.. that way if something does go wrong with your editing, you have the default to fall back on..

also your signature is killing my 56k connection!!!

Sorry about the sig. I'll remove it, but you've got to admit it is cool. Back on topic, I cleared the templates_c and that didn't work.

the code on the previous page should work, i just tried it on my test site to doublecheck.

i can't understand why it isn't on yours.. try disabling cache for the block.. that's the only thing i can think of at moment that you haven't already tried

Yeah, it kinda is.

Back to your problem.... Since you're having so many problems with editing the main menu block, perhaps you should try MultiMenu or one of the other Menu modules in the Module Repository.

Just a thought.

I already had the main menu block on "no cache lifetime". My problem(s) has nothing to do with caches and updating the system module. Whenever I use that code, update the system module, clear the caches,etc...the code is displayed instead of the menu. Its so weird....Do you have any idea why the code is displayed instead of the main menu?

edit:::I fixed the problem! I had doubled spaced between a few lines of code, but know it works.
