Although I haven’t set a module as default for my start page, the news module always shows up. Also, I’ve set a custom block to show at the startpage, but it doesn’t show at all. There is one exception to the above, when I log in or out, it does show my default block and not the news, but as soon as I navigate away or just press the home link in my main menu it shows only the news again.

None of the debugs give me any useful info. I use 2.0.10, simplified shorturls and admin area revised latest beta. Turning off/removing shorturls made no difference.

Another problem, when I use the standard blockasadmin to change some settings they are only saved when I make changes from the detail view (via edit). Since I’m using the blocksadmin module it’s not really a problem, but it might be related to the above.

and :
http://www.zodt.nl/modules/news

That's exactly the problem, it should be different. There’s no module set for the startpage.

yes but there's nothing visible in the news. Did you gave the correct permissions to the topics ?
And it seems that you use url rewriting, is there a problem with this ?

oh sorry, as my site was still closed uintil i opened it up for you to take a look. I didn't think about those permissions yet, i'll correct them.

edit: The permissions were already correct.
edit: As said in the TS, I have turned of/removed shorturl and it didn't make any difference.

fresh install, 1.3.

But I think the problem isn't the newsmodule. I've tried removing the newsmodule to solve the problem, but when going back (home) XOOPS kept informing me: "Module doen't excist". That whilst there is no module at startpage and the url was just zodt.nl/ and not zodt.nl/modules/news oid.
