HTML Center code

I have a block on the right that I display two graphics in.

As they are a littel smaller then the block and go to the left of the block i want to center the graphics in the coloum of the block.

Q: What HTML code do I use to achaive this?

I have tryed this: <th align="center"> and it pushes it way to the right.

you can use <center></center>
works but is not xhtml valid

Hi thank you, for that.

Do I put to this at the start <center> bla bla bla bla bla bla </center> and this one at the end?
