Can someone please tell me what file I need to go into to edit the "User Menu"

and is it the HTML or PHP one?

depends on what you want to edit. If you just want to remove items, you can do it with the template.

That's done in the language files. modules/system/language/[lang]/blocks.php

Thank you. that worked as you are so good at this I have one more question for you.....

I'm using "xoopsmembers" for the search module and on the search form (this is the file I want to edit) it has some words like "AIM Handle" and "YIM Handle" that I want to change the wording.

Q: What file do I need to change this and where is it located?

this string is: http://www.mysite.com/modules/xoopsmembers/
