Hi!
I installed a fresh version of XOOPS 2.0.10 and then uploaded (not installed yet) some tested modules as News 1.3, Edito, phpMyAdmin etc. but I found that in the control panel I have no image at module's icons, and there is a red cross instead of the corresponding image. I upgraded the system module and checked all the image's path of every uploaded module and it's ok. Anybody knows what's wrong and how to fix it?
Thanks very much for your answer

I found this FAQ:

"In admin all the module icons are missing, how do I proceed?
Requested and Answered by Carnuke on 2004/12/19 21:58:37 (305 reads)
After making a backup delete the cache/adminmenu.php file, and relogin as admin. It'll say it's the first time you're logging in, but that's the message you get when the system is generating the adminstration menu".

But I have still a question: I have to backup only the cache/adminmenu.php or all the site?
Thanks

Just the adminmenu.php, incase you need to reset it. Just make a copy on your local computer, delete it from the server and then log into the admin section, it should rebuild.

Thanks jdseymour!
I tried the FAQ solution but the mainmenu.php didn't rebuild itself (is it possible?) and still there are no image at module's icons? What goes on?

Double check your paths in mainfile.php.

Please, can you explain me a little more? What does it means? What paths must I "double" check? Only I have no image at uploaded module's icons, the others are ok.

Sorry did not fully understand. Only the modules that you uploaded do not have icons? It could be a problem with the upload. Try to reupload. Sometimes things can get corrupt.

Hope I understand this time.

Yes, only the modules that I uploaded do not have icons. I'll try to reupload, but I don't think possible that absolutely all the ten uploads can get corrupt coincidently only the icons.
Another relationed question: To try to resolve this problem, I deleted the mainmenu.php at cache folder and now it don't rebuild itself and don't let me upload the old file (It says 550 adminmenu.php: Permission denied). What's wrong with it? The cache folder is now empty. Is it important?
Thanks

Hi!
The story continues...
I reuploaded the News 1.3 module but the image icon doesn't appear.
Anybody have another idea, 'cause the FAQ's solution doesn't work.
