Hi,
I just started using XOOPS a few months ago, and I'm building a website for an open source game. I need a page where I can show off a few screenshots.
I've tried using a few image album modules, namely "xoopsgallery" and "myalbum", but both of them don't do what I want. All I need is:
* A simple way to add images to the website.
* have images displayed on a per-page basis (maybe 16 images per page?)
* Allow me to add comments to images.
* optionally, allow me to specify categories for images (for example "screenshots", "models", "concept art").
The problem with xoopsgallery is that it doesn't work (I have no idea why, it installs fine, but it hangs forever when I ask it to check the imagemagick installation path). The problem with myalbum is that it crashes when I try to view the images I've uploaded.
Surely there must be a module that performs this simple kind of image manipulation? Is there another way to do it? (I haven't experimented with the XOOPS internal image manager system).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
