Random Poll Block?

Hello All,

Has anyone hacked up a way to radomize the poll displayed in the polls block? If not this would be a very cool feature.

I'm also interested in this feature, as I have a few polls running at the same time, the poll block can get very long. it would be good to have a random poll shown in the block, with any polls the user already voted in not being shown. Let me know if you found a way to do this Alf, or if anyone out there has found a way to do this.

I'm another user wanting this one... It would be so helpful and I have yet to find anything that does this.

I would like to use a random poll too. hope someone would make a module for that soon...

This was first requested in August 2003 and I havn't heard of anyone attempting this mod yet, so don't hold your breath.

But yes it would be a cool feature to have.

It seems it would be a matter of cloning the Banner module's random select function and applying it to the Polls module. I'm not to sure about hiding polls that a visitor has voted in. If I had the free time, I'd tackle this, but time is a precious comodity I'm very short on.

Anyone want to give this a shot?
