Hi Guys,

I followed the instructions precise to change my newbb1 to newbb2 change.

Everything went fine, untill I saw what happened when I saw our forum.

I can see only the categories and/or the forums them selves, but for the rest nothing.

see below:

Resized Image

What happened?

I took the forum off line, can someone please help?

I checked my theme.html file and it was correct . Still those pop-ups won't work.

I did update the template via the configuration menu of admin. If I take a look at the template files for " forum" it shows all new templates dated yesterday.

What do you exactly mean by remove and " recreate" them? Upload them again or do something different. And to which template are you referring to?

Thanks for responding.

In System Admin - Templates, navigate to the newbb templates in your cloned template set, delete and regenerate each template.

Thanks for your answer.

I opened the newbb template set (default) in admin like you wrote, but I can only read them or download them. I can not delete them and how do I "regenerate" them?

Should i delete them manually and re-upload them again and then like I did in admin , configuraton, update them?

No do not delete the default templates manually. In the modules admin click on the update module icon by newbb. This will update your default templates.

I already did that the first time. I did it again and the problem remains.

Could it be that the forum is in Dutch in stead of English, because obviously it can't find the images either.

It may be due to language, but I doubt it. Are using a cloned template set? It still looks like a template not updating issue.

See my tutorial, Newbb 1 to 2 upgrade tutorial and see if any steps were missed.

I only have one, the default template set from xoops.

What is a cloned template set? Sorry to ask you this, it probably is mentioned elswhere.

I will read the tuturial and will retrace my steps.

In the templates admin page you have an option to clone the template set. It creates a copy so you can edit the templates. You cannot edit the default templates, which gives you something to fall back to if you make a mistake in the clone edit.

BTW, did you run the upgrade script? during install?
