bjbtexas, Can you tell me how I can get your xdirectory clonable mod/mod? I don't see any Resort Guides menu item.

(Thats a great site there, Tex!)

Have you, or anyone else else modified xDirectory like Folsomliving?

I really didn't mind at all, donating donating $10 or $20 bucks for that mod.

I really believe that people at their option, should be able to require a reasonable donation and feel encouraged to write strong mods, themes, hacks and maintain their websites and downloads. If it's worthy and offers the right solution to me, I'd buy..

Everyone has different needs and some really talented and decent people absolutely have to work on things that at least have the prospect of generating an income. (It may be just plain irresponsible to their families for them not to.)

If "Donation Required" links were offered in Xoops.org and developers offering donation required work were held to a high standard for documentation, website and download management, (Maybe required donations to Xoops.org..)
I'm sure that their would some really amazing things in their that I would have to have.

Sorry for the confusion and resulting delay. In looking over my files, I found I had two versions: 2.1 and 3.0.

I just posted 3.0. If anyone wants me to post the 2.1, let me know.

Hello jmass,

Thank you so much for the posting of the module, I downloaded module:

http://www.obscorp.com/obsportal/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=31

an attempt to install found that requires a uid and password to configure in Xoops. Cannot figure out what are they. Without configure, just trying to browse got the following error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: phpinclude() in /home/twkince/public_html/xbeta/modules/realty/listing_browse.php on line 1

In the DOCS directory, the readme says:

username = admin
password = password

Hi Jamescne,

I wouldn't know. I have been testing the module and it seems to work fine. I think it is a great module.
Did you face any problems, then perhaps we can ask around if someone want to take over further developments

I was just playing around with it and noticed that there wasn't an adim menu for the real estate listings. The only things I saw were automobile add/modify links. Also, it would be nice if it were tied into the XOOPS user table and not require it's own accounts.

Hi Jamescne,

Ha Ha... I had the same problem...

So I kept on looking and found out that:
Regular Options Add A Vehicle|Edit My Vehicles |Create a New User Account Add a Listing Edit My Account Edit My Listings Log Out Home

The Add a Listing is where you add real estate listings.

It is amazing what you can do with the Edit Listings Template
Form Editor Options Edit Member Form Edit Agent Form Edit Listings Template

Good Luck...

Retraction: I thought I had a problem with the realty module 3.1 on the latest update XOOPS 2.0.10

But it was a problem with my server settings, which should have been:
php_admin_value safe_mode off
php_admin_value register_globals on
php_admin_value open_basedir none

So after I changed the settings, the module works on 2.0.10

This module is really great...

Hi all

This realty module is really good - particularly like the forms editors.

But the fact you have to login seperately to the normal XOOPS login seems a bit unnecessary. Anybody know of a way round this?

Thanks
MM

I set up 3.0 but I seen someone say that 3.1 is available?
Anyone know where to download that version?
