I'm currently running XOOPS 2.0.9.2. I'm using News 1.1 and about to install AMS 2.41 but i got te error "Module file for AMS not found". I've uploaded all the unzip files and folders of AMS 2.41 to the AMS folder under MODULES folder.

make sure the folder name is in upper case.. 'AMS' and not 'ams'

also make sure that xoops_version.php is in the AMS folder itself, if it isn't then the structure is wrong..

and also in the Modules Administration under System Admin, the Article icon graphic won't display only the version no.

ok i'd re upload the module to your server, maybe something got corrupted along the way..

thanks it worked now, i just renamed the folder from ams to AMS
